History of National Martyrs Memorial of Bangladesh.

 National Martyrs' Memoria

The National Martyrs' Memorial situated at Savar, approximately 35 km north-west of Dhaka, symbolises the valour and sacrifice of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation war  of Bangladesh in 1971. The National Memorial was  designed by architect Moinul Hossain. The main gravestone is composed of seven isosceles triangular planes each varying in size in its height and base. The highest point of the structure reaches 150 feet. Its symbol of patriotism.
